Where are The Best Photo Labs in Fresno, California?

Being in the photo business for over 80 years, we at Horn Photo have talked to thousands, (maybe millions), of Central Valley professional and amateur photographers. And because so many folks come to us for all things "picture and photographic”, they often ask us who some of the other photo labs are in the Central Valley.

We're never ones to shy away from being blatantly honest with respect to competition, and we want our customers to be as informed as possible. We understand why they want to stay local and work face to face with people who will be printing their precious images. We get it.

Here is a list of companies that still do photo printing in the Fresno and Central Valley area:

1. Walgreens

They have a decent online ordering system and offer in-store pick up. Only glossy, do not offer matte surface prints. A single in-store kiosk is available. Fairly fast and have lots of locations with close parking.

2. Walmart

Super Store offers online ordering with pick-up at the store of your choice. Matte surface only, no glossy surface. It’s a hike to get your prints. Most Walmart’s still have some type of lab at the time of this article.

3. Costco

Offer an online and in-store ordering option for their members, at most locations.

4. Target

They offer online print from their national website. They do offer in-store pick up. This way you can check quality and make sure the prints are up to your expectations. Refunds are available if you are not satisfied. The printing is done at an off-site location. There are labs in the Lemoore, Visilia & Porterville store. None in NorthValley.

5. CVS

After several attempts to place an order I gave up.  They do however, when working, offer local pick up.

6. Rite-Aid

Only offers online printing. No local pick-up or printing. Ship to home.

Kamotion (For large commercial-type jobs)

(On Gettysburg, just east of 41).     This is a great locally owned business for large graphics. They don’t offer small, simple prints like other labs. They do a wonderful job with special projects that involve text and art design for things like trade shows and displays, etc..

So there you go.  Six national companies to consider when you need prints from your phone or camera, that are  right here in Fresno.

Finally, if you want to compare pricing, we thought you should see what Horn Photo charges for KODAK professional Endura prints made on the most advance RA-4 photo processors available.
