Art Wall - Calwa Park

Graffiti art is encouraged on this quarter mile long cement block wall in Calwa Park, Fresno

This quarter-mile-long wall, full of vibrant graffiti, is an incredible spot for photos—especially in the late afternoon sun. With 90 panels, artists from across California get a chance to showcase their work, especially during Calwa's annual Bizarre Arts Festival in January. Each piece typically stays up for a couple of weeks (or longer) until the next artist paints over it. To keep things family-friendly, the artwork follows guidelines against promoting drugs, violence, or lewd images.

Easy to get to and fun to photograph.

Photo Tips
