3-DAY YOSEMITE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Three-Day Photography Workshop in Yosemite

Tuesday - Thursday October 6, 7 & 8, 2026

Join us this October for a photography workshop in Yosemite Valley, where vibrant fall color and smaller crowds create a uniquely rewarding experience. While the waterfalls have slowed after the summer snowmelt, the valley’s iconic landscapes remain spectacular. We’ll photograph classic views of El Capitan, Half Dome, and Cathedral Rocks, along with lesser-known locations that many visitors never discover.

  • Nighttime Milky Way Shoot: Photograph the Milky Way over the High Sierra with the subtle lights from the Yosemite Valley floor.
  • Time-Lapse Shoot: Learn how to create time-lapse photography.
  • Professional Support: Horn Photo’s team of photographers will assist you with every step of the way.

About Yosemite: No matter how many photos and videos you've seen of Yosemite landmarks, you simply cannot understand the scale and magnificence until you are there and see it for yourself. Yosemite National Park is one of the world's most celebrated photography destinations, and for good reason.  It is filled with towering granite cliffs, alpine meadows, crystal-clear rivers, dramatic mountain vistas, and even a grove of Giant Sequoias. From landmarks like El Capitan and Half Dome to peaceful forests and winding valley roads, Yosemite offers remarkable photographic opportunities in every season. In autumn, fall color, crisp mornings, and smaller crowds create ideal conditions for exploring and photographing the park at a more relaxed pace. After dark, exceptionally dark skies are ideal for capturing the Milky Way and star-filled landscapes. Once you are in Yosemite, you'll quickly understand why generations of photographers have been inspired by this extraordinary place.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation by August 6, 2026: Full refund minus deposit.
  • Workshop Minimum Requirement: To ensure an intimate experience, the workshop is limited to 15 participants. The class will only proceed if at least 10 participants sign up by September 21. If this minimum is not met, the event will be canceled, and all registered participants will receive a full refund.
  • Park Closure Cancellations: In the event of a National Park closure, all but the deposit will be refunded.

We encourage early registration to secure your spot in this one-of-a-kind photography adventure. Don’t miss out—this is an opportunity to learn, explore, and capture some of the most iconic landscapes in the United States.
