Horn Photo’s photography classes will fill your brain with knowledge. Each two-hour session contains a semester's worth of thoughtfully presented information. To make learning easy and enjoyable, our instructors have created handouts tailored to each class, eliminating the need for note-taking. We encourage you to simply soak in the lessons, and ask any questions you may have during and after the class. Our instructors will stay with you until all of your photography questions are answered.

Whether you’re new to photography or just want to better understand what makes a picture great, this class if for you. You will learn how to use your DLSR or mirrorless camera, no matter what brand you shoot.
This informative two-hour class will teach you the fundamentals of photography. It will give you the confidence to take your camera out of Auto Mode, and put it in Manual Mode. Manual Mode is where the photographic possibilities are endless, and where you can let your creativity take over!
You will learn how aperture (f/stop), shutter speed and ISO all work together to make the proper exposure. You will also learn how these three camera settings can be used creatively.
We are honored and delighted to have Emily Bunting teach this class. Emily is a fine art photographer and has experience as a teacher. She is an expert in the field of photography, and she knows how to explain and demonstrate information in a way that you'll understand and remember. Emily is eager to help you learn how to improve your photography skills.

Horn Photo’s CLICKING CARAVAN is a fun free event for people who love photography. It doesn’t matter if you are brand new to photography or a seasoned professional photographer. All are welcome! We hire professional models to photograph, set up portable lighting, and have expert photographers available to assist beginners. Our events take place in different locations each time, so there’s lots of great backgrounds with interesting features to photograph. We love variety.

Get your cameras ready! 📸 The first photo event of the year will be Saturday March 16th and will start inside of Spectrum Gallery 608 E Olive Ave, Fresno, CA at 12pm - 3pm. We'll meet inside Spectrum Gallery and will be walking around the Tower District in Fresno documenting the area while connecting with people who are also interested in the art of photography 📷
We'll be doing our 1 shot challenge where you get 1 chance to take a great photo on a film camera. Winner will get a gift card & bragging rights till the next event. We'll also be raffling off several cameras & accessories and we'll be doing portraits for free so everybody goes home with a memento of the day.
The day of the event you'll be handed a small printout with the event route & where to share your work as well as some photo prompts for things to look for throughout the walk.
This event is open to photographers of all skill levels, regardless if it's a disposable film camera, a high end digital camera or even your phone. If you don't have a camera, there will be extras to try & borrow for the duration of the event. Any and all cameras are welcome.
